While all seven colleges participating in the UTSA annual giving campaign exceeded their goals, the College of Engineering earned the top prize, a $15,000 gift for reaching a 212 percent campaign participation rate. Launched on April 15 and coordinated by the UTSA Office of Annual Giving, the Be Counted! Campaign UTSA 2016 provided the community with an opportunity to support UTSA’s top-tier academic, research and outreach programs at the college level. Participation goals were set based on the weekly average number of donors to the college. Fundraising priorities ranged from raising support for student scholarships, fellowships and leadership programs to raising funds for laboratory equipment and community outreach programs.
