- Machine vision and pattern recognition (including target detection and recognition)
- Mobile and medical imaging
- Signal/Image enhancement, filtering, representation, modeling and compression
- Bioinformatics
The research topics range from fundamental principles to applications, from analysis to synthesis, and from theory to experiment and to simulation.
