The Flexible Manufacturing and Lean Systems Laboratory (FMLS Lab) is a newly developed facility of the Mechanical Engineering Department at the University of Texas at San Antonio. As a part of the Center for Advanced Manufacturing and Lean Systems (CAMLS), the FMLS lab supports research and teaching activities in the areas of Flexible Manufacturing Systems (FMS) and Lean Systems. The lab provides excellent facility, equipment, and information systems for hardware-based experiments, computer-based modeling, simulation and analysis, software tools development, hands-on training and education.
