NACME Scholars Block Grant Program Award
Amount: Up to $2,500 annually for up to 5 years (total of funds awarded from any form of state, federal, institutional and private scholarships, loans and grants may not exceed the cost of attendance to UTSA)
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate students pursuing an engineering degree at UTSA.
- Registered for a minimum of 12 semester credit hours.
- First year students must have a minimum GPA of 2.50. Students in their second or third year must be at least 2.6, fourth year students must achieve a cumulative GPA of at least 2.8.
- Demonstrated financial need, as determined by UTSA's Office of Student Financial Aid.
- NACME Scholars must be either United States Citizens or U.S. Permanent Residents.
- NACME Scholars must be African American, American Indian or Latino.

- Attach a letter stating your career plans and how this award will help you in achieving your educational and career goals.
Scholarship award may impact your FASFA (Financial Aid) status.

Applications will be forwarded to the National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering (NACME) who has established the selection criteria and are responsible for making all recipient selections.
