2008 Scholarships

THECB Scholarship for Engineering Programs

Amount: May vary - up to maximum of $5,000

Qualifications:

  1. Be enrolled as a freshman in an undergraduate engineering degree program at UTSA.
  2. Have graduated from high school in the top 20 percent of his/her graduating class.
  3. Have graduated from high school with a GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent in mathematics and science courses offered under the recommended or advanced high school program.
  4. Maintain an overall GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale at UTSA.

Application and Supporting Material

  1. Complete the Engineering Scholarship Program Application.
  2. Math and Science Grade Point Average Worksheet (attached to application).
