Welcome to Dr. Hansen’s webpage.  I have been a teaching faculty at UTSA since 1998.  I love teaching at UTSA, and if you are a student here, I hope you enjoy your time here, too.

I have taught many ECE courses over the years, but currently my main two courses are ECE Labs I and II.

I hold the administrative position of ECE Undergraduate Advisor of Record (UGAR).  This position is not an actual staff advising position.  Instead, I am an interface between the ECE Advisors and the ECE Department.  If you have any course or career-specific questions, please feel free to drop by my office and ask me your question.

I have a personal office (BSE 1.530) and an administrative UGAR office (AET 2.343).  My office hours change from semester to semester, so please check outside either office for a posting of that semester’s office hours.

You can also email for an appointment at lars.hansen@utsa.edu.
