– 10-21-2020 Youtube Channel on Fluid Mechanics is established.  Lectures videos and other materials for a complete course on introductory Fluid Mechanics Course by Dr. Firat Y. Testik is being published on this Youtube Channel. Subscribe to the Channel to get updated on new video releases and inform others who may benefit for such a complete resource. New videos will be released often.
– 08-01-2018 We published a journal paper on a new radar rainfall estimation algorithm that we developed (Link to the Paper).
– 03-02-2018  We received a major research grant from the National Science Foundation to investigate rainfall microphysics
– 12-26-2017 We published a journal paper on the selection of hazard-consistent hurricane scenarios for regional combined hurricane wind and flood loss estimation  (Link to the Paper).
– 09-20-2017  We received an NSF-RAPID grant to investigate  the     sedimentary response of beaches to Hurricane Harvey ( Link to the Project). 
 – 05-15-2017 We received a USDOT grant to investigate  the     Coastal Bridges under Hurricane Stresses ( Link to the Project).
– 05-15-2017 We published a journal paper on the wind effects on the shape of raindrop size distribution (Link to the Paper).
– 02-7-2017 We published a journal paper on the free overfall from a circular pipe (Link to the Paper).
– 01-28-2017 We published a journal paper on the first-time observations of raindrop collisions in the field and its implications (Link to the Paper).
