Goals
The goals of the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department are:- Equip our graduates with the ability and desire for life-long learning in the rapidly evolving areas of engineering
- Respond to the educational and research needs of existing and emerging technologies in San Antonio and South Texas
- Offer innovative educational programs consisting of both instruction and research activities
- Offer an undergraduate civil engineering degree program that is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET/EAC)
