Stipend/GRA/RA/Financial Support

Students in the UTSA/UTHSCSA Joint Graduate Program in Biomedical Engineering who are receiving financial support either directly from the BME Program or other sources (Mentor's grant, etc) are required to have the following:

  • You must be enrolled at the UTSA and/or UTHSCSA for a combination of a minimum of nine credit hours for the Fall and Spring sememsters, and three credit hours during the Summer semester.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0 must be maintained in all coursework.
  • If you are receiving a full award, outside employment is not allowed.
