Goals
The goals of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department are:
- To offer an innovative, design-oriented, accredited undergraduate
program with concentrations in computer, control systems, and
communication and signal processing engineering.
- In addition, attain national and international prominence for quality graduate programs and for research in selected areas.
- Be responsive to the needs of industry and society, particularly in the south central Texas region.
- Lead in fostering a close relationship between UTSA and the local and state technology community.
