It is a new $86 million (225,000 sq. ft.) building that now houses several components of the UTSA/UTHSCSA Joint Program in Biomedical Engineering. The Program faculty utilize several thousand square feet of laboratory and office space. Research facilities include laboratories for biomaterials, biomechanics, imaging and bioelectronics. State-of-the-art facilities are available for tissue engineering and biomedical imaging.
